3rd ITS LEIF Winter School
(updated on the 27th of January, 2010)
The 3rd ITS LEIF Winter School will take place
in Pralognan, Savoie, in France
from the 8th to the 11th of March 2010
(arrival on the 7th and departure on the 12th).
This third edition will deal with:
- Molecules in the Interstellar Medium
- Cold plasma interactions with surfaces
- Specific ion optics for high pressure regions
- Complementary training skills

The International Symposium on Electron Beam Ion Sources and Traps, EBIST2010 will be organized in Stockholm University on 7-10 of April, 2010. The symposium will be the XI'th in the series of EBIS/T symposia with the last two meetings held at MPI Heidelberg, Germany in 2007 and at Tokyo Metropolitan University, Japan in 2004.

During the first three years of ITS LEIF, the demand for beam time has steadily increased, always exceeding the amount which can be supported by the Project. Most of the applications are presented during the Annual ITS LEIF Meeting; however, an increasing number of applications is submitted independently. Be reminded, that applications can be submitted and are processed at any time of the year.
